After Everything is a 2023 American romantic drama film directed by Castille Landon, serving as the fifth and final installment in the After film series. It continues the tumultuous love story between Hardin Scott (Hero Fiennes Tiffin) and Tessa Young (Josephine Langford), characters originally created by Anna Todd.

🎬 Plot Summary

Following the events of After Ever Happy, Hardin is grappling with writer’s block and the aftermath of his breakup with Tessa. In an effort to find closure and personal growth, he travels to Portugal to seek forgiveness from a woman he wronged in the past. This journey becomes a path of self-discovery, as Hardin confronts his past actions and contemplates the possibility of rekindling his relationship with Tessa.

After Everything was released in the United States on September 13 and 14, 2023, through limited theatrical screenings organized by Fathom Events. It is now available for streaming on platforms such as ShowMax and for purchase on Apple TV. 


📚 Future of the After Franchise

While After Everything concludes the main storyline of Hardin and Tessa, the After universe is set to expand. A new installment titled After: Next Generation has been announced for release in 2025. This project aims to explore new narratives within the same universe, potentially focusing on the next generation of characters.
